Holgi
Holgi is an 11-year-old boy who lives with his lazy older brother, Max, on a dilapidated farm at the edge of the village. Max hates work and earns his living by sleeping with elderly ladies, who value his beautiful body. Their father is long gone and their mother ′went on a little journey′.
Holgi, who is smart, but needs a bit of emotional attention, wants to preserve his life with Max. But Max falls in love with Rosa. Holgi feels threatened and isolated. He fights back. With sarcastic jokes in the beginning, to violence in the end. An attempt to kill Rosa goes wrong, it is Max who dies. In the process, both Rosa and Holgi destroy the very things they most desire: the place where they belong, their home and family. They blame each other and a fight, literally at knife point, ensues ...
