Letztes aus der DaDaeR

Film adaptation of the stage shows "Altes aus der Da Da Er" und "Neues aus der Da Da Er" by the political satirists Steffen Mensching and Hans-Eckardt Wenzel. In a mix of cutting political satire, clownish play and literary-musical revue, the 1990 film takes a trip to the most striking places of the German Democratic Republic and focuses on the turbulent events of the last twelve months. The scenes include the celebrating of Walpurgis Night on the Brocken, the conferring of an order in the Staatsrat building, or a cultural event in a Kulturhaus.
