Cristian Mungiu was born in 1968 in Romania. A selection of his films includes: "Nici o intimplare" (1999), "Zapping" (2000), "Corul Pompierilor" (2000), "Tina si mama" (2000), "Occident" (2000-2003), and "Turkey Girl" (2004) from the "Generation" compilation.
