Britt Dunse was born in 1974 in Lübeck and studied Visual Communication/Experimental Media Design at the University of the Arts in Berlin and Digital Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Since 2004, she has been active as an animator and director for children's television and an instructor for Animation and children's animation workshops. Her films include: 2Superschool" (1998-2001), "Norden" (2004), "Deducation" (2006), "Freiheit, Gleichheit, Brüderlichkeit" (2006-2009), "The Punisher" (2010), "Rotkäppchen in deutscher Gebärdensprache" (2011), "Rotkäppchen, Dackel und der Wolf" (2013), "Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten" (2014), and "Schneewittchen in deutscher Gebärdensprache"(2014).
