Biography
Jochen Hick was born on 2 April 1960. From 1981-87 he studied film at the Colleges of Fine Arts in Hamburg and in Bologna. He is a freelance writer, journalist, director and producer for film and television and was a guest of the Panorama Section of the Berlinale in 2008 with his film "East/West – Sex & Politics".
From 2007 until 2010 Jochen Hick was commissioning editor and deputy director of programmes at TIMM television channel. In Addition to that he is also a part-time lecturer at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin.
