Saskia Walker, born in Cologne, Germany in 1970, studied history of art and languages in Paris, Freiburg, Moscow and Berlin and gained a Master of Arts in 1998. In 2003 she completed a postgraduate degree in film directing in Cologne. Since 2007 she has been co-editor of Revolver film journal and, in 2012, curated the ‘Hands On Fassbinder’ series of events. In 2013 she founded the production company Sprechfilm.
