Stefan Gorski was born on July 19, 1991 in Vienna, Austria. From 2012 to 2016 he completed his acting studies at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. During his studies he played the title role in "Der junge Hitler" at the Neue Bühne Villach in 2012, and in 2014 he portrayed Orest in "Elektra" at the Neue Tribüne Wien. For his portrayal of Gavrilo Princip in "1914 - Zwei Wege in den Untergang" at the Reichenauer Festspiele, he was nominated for the Nestroy Theatre Prize in the Best Newcomer category in 2014. In 2016 he performed at the Theater in der Josefstadt in the world premiere of "Totes Gebirge" in the role of Nepomuk Elm.

After graduating, he joined the ensemble of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus in the 2016/17 season. There he made his debut as Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet". He then appeared as Mephisto in "Faust (to go)", as John Hale in "The Crucible", as Ben in the David Bowie musical "Lazarus" and as Baron von Gaigern in Sönke Wortmann's production of "Menschen im Hotel".

After some smaller television appearances, such as a role as a waiter in "Das Sacher" (2016), Gorski had a supporting role as a student in Sönke Wortmann's film production "Contra" in 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie was only released in the fall of 2021 to great success. Before that, he was seen in the TV fairy tale movie "Helene, die wahre Braut" (2020) in the leading role of Prince Lassmann. Gorski also had a leading role in the romantic drama "Rosenblüten im Sand" (2021) from the TV series "Inga Lindström". In addition, he had guest roles in the series "Um Himmels Willen" (2021), "Capelli Code" (2021) and played a priest in the "Tatort" crime drama "Rhythm and Love" (2021). 

Despite his various screen roles, Gorski's main focus remained on the stage of the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus. He played a leading role in the film "Ein ganzes Leben" ("A Whole Life", DE/AT 2023), directed by Hans Steinbichler, about the challenging life of an orphaned boy in mid-20th century Germany.
