Bayern sagenhaft

Documentary, in which director Joseph Vilsmaier deals with the different customs in the seven administrative districts of the Free State of Bavaria. He shows the various feasts, customs and traditions of the regions and explains which sagas, legends or historical events they refer to. At the same time, the film title "Bavaria - fabulous" is also a tribute to the Bavarian landscape and the diverse achievements of the Free State in terms of art, science, business and sports. The cabaret artist Monika Gruber not only speaks the commentary, but also appears in short skits.
