Deutschland. Dein Selbstporträt

People from all over Germany contributed to this documentary project, which asked them to record short snippets of their lives with their smartphones, tablets or cameras. Three questions served as lose guidelines: What makes you happy? What scares you? What does Germany mean to you? Some submitted scenes from their workday, others talked about their doubts and hopes. Director Sönke Wortmann curated the submissions; he screened the amassed footage and assembled the final film as a portrait of contemporary life in Germany.
