Katharina Stark
Katharina Stark, born on September 26, 1998, developed a fascination for acting at a young age and received acting lessons between 2010 and 2018. She studied at the TASK Children's Acting School, YouAct, and with Teresa Harder.
She made her debut in a feature film 2015 with a leading role as a princess in the fairytale film "König Laurin" ("King Laurin", released 2016). In the thriller "Luna," also filmed in 2015 (released 2017), she had a smaller role as a friend of the young main character.
In the following years, Stark secured numerous supporting and leading roles in television productions, such as in episodes of "Inga Lindström" (2016) and "SOKO München" (2017). In the Munich-based "Tatort" episode "KI" (2018), she played a leading role as a suicidal teenager, and in the episode "Diva" from the series "Morden im Norden" (2019, aired in 2021), she portrayed an influencer.
From 2018 to 2022, Stark underwent acting training at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. During this period, she participated in TV productions such as the series "Pan Tau" and "Die Kanzlei." In 2021, she took on a leading role in Anna Roller's HFF graduation film "Dead Girls Dancing," portraying one of three high school graduates who explore the limits of their newfound freedom in an abandoned Italian mountain village. After a simultaneous world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and the Filmfest München, the highly praised film was theatrically released in Germany in November 2023.
