Born in Lima, Peru in 1975, he studied audiovisual communications in Peru between 1996 and 2000 and then film directing in Barcelona from 2001 to 2003. He took up a postgraduate degree in screenwriting and feature film directing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in 2011. His intermediate diploma project "Camille" was nominated for the German Cinema New Talent Award at the 2013 Hof International Film Festival and won Best Student Film at the Mexico International Film Festival. "TORO" is his graduation film. He currently lives and works in Cologne.
