Veve Kiselev is an artist, musician, actress and filmmaker. She was born in 1994 in Atbasar, Kazakhstan and left in the late 90's as a reaction to her Russian-German family history. In her studies at University of Art and Design Offenbach in the department Electronic Media and Moving Pictures she engaged with Sound, Video and Performance; Writing songs, producing music and films and developing performances and visualizations.
Her musicproject, founded in 2019, is a fusion of these disciplines..
Her debut musicvideo "Worship Ain’t No Lie" (2021), a collaboration with artist and filmmaker Oliver Freiländer won at the Munich Music Video Awards in the category Best Lyrics. And her diplomafilm "Das nicht gelebte Leben" ("The Life Not Lived", 2024) got selected for Hessen Talents and nominated for EFM Berlinale 2024.
