Sofia Bolotina was born in Crimea. Growing up in Germany, she made her first acting experiences in commercials and TV appearances of the acrobatic show troupe "Hamburger Showsternchen". In 2014, she auditioned for the film "Kleine Ziege, sturer Bock" and was eventually cast in the lead role of a young girl who goes on an adventurous trip to Norway with her father, whom she just recently met.
