Lukas Feigelfeld was born in Vienna in 1986. In 2001, he started studying at the Höhere Graphische Bundes-Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt ("Die Graphische") in Vienna, focusing on photography and audiovisual media. In parallel, he started working as a freelance graphic designer, photographer and DJ. In 2006, he graduated with his 25 minutes long film "Verzweigungen".

In late 2007, Feigelfeld began to study directing at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (dffb). During his studies, he directed a number of short and medium-length films. His graduation film at the dffb was the feature-length horror film "Hagazussa - Der Hexenfluch" ("Hagazussa - A Heathen's Curse", 2015-2017). The film about a goatherd that is excluded from society and goes mad, premiered at the Fantastic Film Fest in Austin, Texas in 2017.
