Homa Faghiri was born on September 30, 1988, in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. After gaining her first stage experience at the Stadttheater Freiburg, she went on to train at the acting school Die Etage in Berlin from 2009 to 2013, following her secondary education. After completing her studies, Homa Faghiri appeared in several productions by Theater Eukitea until 2024, while also continuing her professional development through acting seminars and workshops.
She made her film debut in 2021 with a leading role in "Viva Forever", a film about four long-standing friends whose relationship is put to the test during a shared vacation. This was followed by supporting roles in the series "Lamia" (2022) and in the widely acclaimed, multi-award-winning drama "Elaha" (2023). In the 2024/25 season, Faghiri became a member of the ensemble at Berlin's Theater an der Parkaue, where she made her debut in the leading role of the stage production "The Youngest Daughter".
She went on to play a leading role on the big screen as an ambitious butcher in the absurd provincial comedy "Holy Meat" (2025), followed by a major supporting role as a film producer in Ulrich Köhler's "Gavagai" (2025), which explores the controversial production of a film adaptation of "Medea" in Senegal.
