Biography

Frida-Lovisa Hamann was born in Berlin in 1990. From 2010 until 2013, she studied acting at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst 'Ernst Busch', and already appeared in stage productions at dokumentartheater, the bat-Studiotheater and the Schaubühne. After graduating from acting school, she was a company player at the renowned Burgtheater in Vienna from 2013 until 2016.

Frida-Lovisa Hamann made her feature film debut as the lead in the TV production "Die weiße Schlange" (2015, TV). Director Oliver Kienle cast her in his psychological thriller "Die Vierhändige" ("Four Hands", 2016), which premiered at the 2017 Munich Film Festival. The same year, she played Katharina von Bora, the wife of Martin Luther, in the made-for-TV period drama "Zwischen Himmel und Hölle". In addition to her work for film and television, Hamann also continued her stage career and starred in the 2017 production of "Ein europäisches Abendmahl" at the Burgtheater.
