Biography
Born in Mumbai in 1974. Entering the film industry as assistant director to Pankaj Parashar, he subsequently worked as a location manager and assistant director on television productions, music videos and corporate films, and as a screenwriter for commercials and sitcoms. His cinematic debut "Dil Chahta Hai" received multiple awards. In 2007 the Berlinale screened his adaptation of the screen classic "Don". He is co-founder with Ritesh Siwadie of the production company Excel Entertainment.
