Biography
Eyal Sivan was born in 1964 in Haifa/Israel and grew up in Jerusalem. He began his career working as a fashion photographer and moved to Paris in 1985. In 1987, he began making documentary films. His Adolf Eichmann portrait "Der Spezialist" (1999) caused quite a stir on the international circuit. A selection of his other films includes: "Aqabat Jaber – Vie de Passage" (1987), "Israland" (1991), "Jerusalems le Syndrome Borderline" (1994), "Aqabat Jaber – Friede ohne Wiederkehr?" (1995), and "I Love You All" ("Aus Liebe zum Volk", 2004).
