Biography
Daniel Hofmann, born in 1985, studied marketing management in Düsseldorf from 2006 to 2008. As a student, he worked in the marketing field for various institutions, companies and events. After graduating, he worked as a marketing manager for Jawa-Reisen GmbH in Paderborn, among others.
In February 2010, he founded the agency Markeloop in his hometown Marsberg, with which he specialized in website design, online marketing as well as image, event and employee films, for which he also acts as cameraman. In parallel to his professional activities, Hofmann became the honorary project manager of the Marsburg music festival 'Metal Divers' in 2013; he is also co-editor of the metal magazine Metal Striker.
Hofmann's enthusiasm for Thrash Metal eventually led him to make a documentary about the history and development of this music genre: in 2019, he began work on "Total Thrash - The Teutonic Story". The theatrical release of the completely independently produced film was in June 2022.
