Céline De Gennaro was born on August 5, 1996, in Frankfurt am Main. After completing her secondary education, she completed a diploma program in voice acting in Frankfurt (2016–2017) before studying acting at the International Academy of Film Acting (IAD) in Cologne from 2017 to 2020. During this time, she appeared in a number of short films and music videos and took on guest roles in feature films, including David Nawrath's thriller "Atlas" (2017), Florian David Fitz's comedy "100 Dinge" ("100 Things," 2018), and the coming-of-age anthology "The Kids Turned Out Fine" (2020).

De Gennaro's first leading role in a feature film came in 2021 alongside Clara Schwinning in "Ein schöner Ort" ("A Good Place") directed by Katharina Huber.
