Frangiskos Kakoulakis was born in Munich in 1998. He gained his first stage experience at the artistically oriented Friedel-Eder Waldorf School, before going on to complete professional training at the inclusive Akademie der Freien Bühne. In 2015, he joined an expressive dance group as part of the Offene Behindertenarbeit (Open Disability Services) in Munich-Freising. In the summer of 2018, he also took part in the inclusive workshop "Wie hoch ist Augenhöhe?" (Where is eye level?), run by the Otto Falckenberg School.
After taking on the title role in "Woyzeck" at the Freie Bühne München in 2018, he appeared on stage in "Lulu" the following year and also worked as an extra in the popular TV series "Um Himmels Willen".
Since the 2020/2021 season, he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Münchner Kammerspiele, a theater considered a pioneer of inclusive theater in Germany. With his sharp sense of timing and his ability to carry even complex roles, he has firmly established himself on Munich's theater scene.
After voicing the character Arnaud in the German-dubbed version of the French box-office hit "A Little Something Extra" ("Un p'tit truc en plus," 2024), he took on his first film role in Marc Rothemund's German adaptation of the comedy – about two small-time crooks who try to hide from the police within a travel group of people with disabilities – playing Charlie, Arnaud's counterpart.
