Reconstruction of a railroad bridge destroyed by the Russians in Romania
Destroyed railroad bridge over the Danube; pioneers at work on reconstruction; the provisionally rebuilt bridge; journey of the first train; river landscape with setting sun (fragment). The film shows footage of the bridge over the Arges River near the village of Gradistea (on the Giurgiu-Bucharest railway line). This bridge was shelled and destroyed during the advance on Bucharest in the fall of 1916.
