Summary
Documentary film about the punk movement in East Germany that had been quite active in the German Democratic Republic and still is in today′s eastern part of Germany. During the time of the communist regime in the GDR, punks rebelled against the restrictions of a system that wanted to form a collective youth. With their slogan "too much future!", bands such as "Wutanfall" or "Betonromantik" fought against the decreed optimism and "care" of the socialistic system. The film blends current takes and interviews with historic film clips to portray a powerful musical subculture and the story of their repression.
