Summary
The documentary filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky has travelled to eight antipodes for his film - places that are geographically located exactly on the opposite side of the globe. He has assembled his shots of these places into a kaleidoscope of opposites and shows landscapes and cities that seem to complement each other in a peculiar way. For example a magnificent, peaceful sunrise in Argentina set against the hustle and bustle in the rainy streets of Shanghai. People living in the wilderness or next to an active volcano. Monumental landscapes and on the other side a noisy big city.
