Summary
This film differs a lot from the original burlesque by Gustav Raeder: Trying to win a wager, Munich-based artists Robert and Bertram dress up as vagabonds and travel the countryside. During their adventurous trip, they encounter cantankerous villagers, spend some time in prison and finally lose their hearts to an American lady and a circus rider respectively.
