Biography

Karoline Teska was born in 1988 in Halle an der Saale and already played her first big role on the movie screen at the age of eleven years old alongside Matthias Habich in Alexander Berner"s film "Boran". Teska subsequently starred in Katalin Gödrös"s debut film as a director "Mutanten" ("Mutants"). In the film, Teska played 13-year old loner Paula who tries to find her own way through life during the turmoil of puberty. After finishing high school in 2007, Karoline Teska started to attend private acting lessons.

After several further smaller movie roles, for instance, in "Blueprint" (2003) and in "Die Boxerin" ("About a Girl", 2004), or in the TV movie "Allein unter Töchtern" (2007) that won her a nomination for the 2008 Günter Strack TV award, Teska played two important roles, each alongside Ludwig Trepte: In the multiple award-winning TV movie "Ihr könnt euch niemals sicher sein" ("Outta Control"), directed by Nicole Weegmann, and in Christoph Röhl"s drama "Ein Teil von mir" ("A Piece of Me", both 2008). In "Ein Teil von mir", Teska plays a 16-year old girl who has become pregnant unwantedly.
