Benjamin Eicher, born March 31, 1974 in Tübingen, directed "Schluss mit Mudder", the third part of amateur trash film "Dei Mudder sei Gesicht". In 2000, Eicher set up the production company "Los Bandidos Films" together with Timo Joh. Mayer. Under this label, Eicher directed, partly with co-director May, a series of short and low budget films that were all distributed directly to video and DVD during the following years. In 2004, Eicher won the Young Talent Promotional Award at Biberach Film Festival for his children's short film "Camera Obscura".
In early 2009, Benjamin Eicher (together with co-director Timo Joh. Mayer) finished his first film for the movie screen, the prominently casted ensemble drama "Kopf oder Zahl".
