Synopsis

Werner Herzog′s black-humoured pseudo documentary film tells the story of an extraterrestial who fled his cooled down world in the Andromeda galaxy and now, in the course of his galactic exodus, lands on earth. After a failed attempt to build a city for his species, he lands a job with the CIA. He is supposed to pass an expert opinion on the original recordings of the legendary "Roswell incident" for the secret service. At the same time, mankind prepares for an emergency mission into space – threatended by climatic disasters, mankind wants to find an inhabitable planet.
