Summary
Jan is a passionate cook – but instead of starting a successful career, he works in the Cologne pub of his school day friend Rudi. When Rudi one day walks out on him and leaves him with a large amount of debt Jan decides to follow him and to confront him. On his arrival in a small Andalusian backwater town, he meets a series of people whose fates are quite similar to his: They all have a dream, they wait for their "opportunity", and they hope to be able to achieve their goals one day. This experience finally tells Jan that he must not wait for his happiness and that life is too short to waste his time with unfulfilled dreams.
