Synopsis
Kitty and the World Conference
One of the numerous world conferences that is mainly arranged for the amusement of its participants is taking place at Lugano′s hotel "Eden". All of a sudden, Kitty, a young manicurist, plays a pivotal role during the conference. She is looking for acqaintances to become more attractive. Thus, she meets a reporter who is looking for big news, as well as the British Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. She tells the reporter that she is the minister′s assistant but she cannot fool the minister himself. Instead of blowing her cover, the minister uses Kitty to dupe several political adventurers. Kitty readily agrees to the minister′s plans until she realises that by doing so she fails to meet her own goals. When she realises that she has fallen in love with the reporter whom she turned her back on, it is the minister′s turn to get them back together.
