Synopsis
To Each His Own
Nico and Milos are two Romany brothers from former Yugoslavia. They have been tragically separated since childhood. Years later, they meet again at a police station. Nico, the older of the two, has become a police officer and is now so perfectly assimilated into German society that you would not even think of him as a foreigner. His brother Milos′ life, on the other hand, has taken a completely different turn. The two now find themselves face to face in an interrogation room. Milos is accused of having mugged and beaten a woman. Will Nico help his brother? Stefan Schaller′s film is a tale of discrimination, integration and belated reparation.
