Gabriela Donath is a celebrated music hall singer who had handed her daughter Andrea to foster parents care after divorcing from her husband. Now, Gabriela wants to emancipate herself from the past and to get back in contact with Andrea. But in the meantime, Gabriela′s daughter has grown up and become alien to her mother. The film was Zarah Leander′s post-war comeback.
