Jack Carver has left behind his dissipated life as an Army officer and now owns a boat rental at the West Coast of the USA. This is the starting point of the film version of the video game "Far Cry". But soon, Jack′s easy life gets disturbed when the good-looking reporter Valerie Cardinal asks him to bring her to the military island of Cabutu. Immediately after their arrival, Valerie is kidnapped and Jack′s boat is blown to pieces. Maniac scientist Dr. Krieger has taken over the island and tries to create genetically modified soldiers and to build up an army. But Jack cannot allow that to happen. He heads off to rescue Valerie and to hunt down Dr. Krieger.
