Der blinde Fleck

Deutschland 2012/2013 Spielfilm

Summary

The Blind Spot

On September 26 1980, thirteen people were killed in a terror attack at the Oktoberfest in Munich. Journalist Ulrich Chaussy is assigned to report on the background of the devastating incident, but during his investigation, he discovers odd discrepancies. The more he dwells into the details, the more he starts to doubt the official account of the attack and the conclusions of the authorities. His ambition to reveal the truth increasingly turns into an obsession which dominates his life. Since no one else seems to be interested in questioning the official story, he is virtually  alone in his quest for truth. Only in Werner Dietrich, a lawyer representing victims of the attack, does he eventually find an ally.
