Winterkinder

In his documentary "Winterkinder – Die schweigende Generation" ("Winter’s Children – The Silent Generation") director Jens Schanze asks for the extent of his grandfathers involvement in Nazi politics during the Third Reich – a man he only knew through stories and photographs, as he died in 1954. With his film he searches for a picture of a man, which has been suppressed for decades, finding out indeed that he was quite involved in the machinations of the Nazis.
