Tarzan & Jane

Deutschland 1997/1998 Spielfilm

Tarzan ... And The Lost City

Lord Clayton Greystoke has problems getting used to life in England. The young nobleman constantly keeps thinking back to his happy childhood and youth in the African jungle. On the evening before his wedding to Jane he receives news about the threat to his former kingdom.

Although Jane is beside herself with anger about the wedding being called off, Clayton sets off for Africa and learns of the disastrous machinations of the explorer Nigel Ravens who constantly craves ad-miration. Ravens, an English officer and intelligent mind, is the leader of a group of heavily armed mercenaries. He knows Africa′s mystical stories and is searching for the "Holy Medallion", which lead him to the key for the gate of the legendary city of Opar with all its riches and inconceivable treasures. Tarzan tries to peacefullly dissuade Ravens from going through with his plan. But the latter counters this with callousness and threatens to kill Tarzan should he ever once try to get in his way...
