Born in Freudenstadt in 1987; as a young man he worked as a film projectionist in his home town; he spent his social year at Stuttgart Medienwerkstatt working in animation and video editing. In October 2010 he took up studies in editing at Baden Württemberg Film Academy. An assistant editor, he worked on the film "Sohnemänner", among other productions.
