Kim Riedle was born in Starnberg on January 15 1982. From 2002 until 2005, she studied acting at the Internationale Schule für Schauspiel und Acting (ISSA) in Munich. While being a company player at the Westfälische Landestheater Castrop-Rauxel in 2006/2007, she also began to venture into television with guest-starring roles on shows like "SOKO Köln" and "Die Rosenheim-Cops". From 2008 on, she predominately worked for TV, including turns in the "Tatort episode "Am Ende des Tages" and the crime drama "Die Tote ohne Alibi" (2012). For 79 episodes, she played the model Giselle Schulz on the soap opera "Verbotene Liebe".

Kim Riedle got her first leading role in a theatrical release with Mia Spengler's drama "Back for Good", which portrays the gradual reconciliation between a mother and her two estranged daughters. "Back for Good" was the opening film of the Sektion Perspektive Deutsches Kino of the 2017 Berlin IFF. For her performance, Riedle won the newcomer award at the Filmkunstfest Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and she was also nominated for the Deutsche Schauspielerpreis and the German Film Award.
