Marita Stocker studied German Literature, Journalism and Electronic Media and attended training initiatives like the Documentary Campus Masterschool, Masterclass Rosa von Praunheim and TP2 Talentpool. Since 2008 she is active as a writer and director. Her other films include: "Mirella Freni – Ein Leben für die Oper" (2010), "George London – Zwischen Göttern und Dämonen" (2011), "Grenzenlos – Wie Jazz Europa verbindet" (2013), and "Der letzte Remix" (2015, as co-writer).
