Born in Berlin in 1980, she made her first short films at the Contra-Medienwerkstatt Berlin. She studied film at the Hamburg College of Fine Arts and then took up post-graduate studies in screenwriting and directing at Cologne Academy of Media Arts. "Narben im Beton" is her graduation film. Since 2009 she has been working as a freelance writer and director.
