Malte Wirtz studied Directing at the Athanor Academy in Burghausen. His films include: the shorts "Red" (2003), "Behind Fortune" (2006), "Falling in Love" (2009), "The End of the World of Paul Hinze" (2010), "Blind" (2011), "Hier kommt Kurt" (2012), "The Close-Ups" (2015), and his feature debut "Voll Paula!" ("Full Paula!", 2015).
