Born in Schkeuditz near Leipzig in 1984. She grew up and attended school in Leipzig, making her first film while studying for her final school examinations. A series of internships at film production companies and distributors followed. She was an assistant production designer on "Yella" (Christian Petzold, 2007), and assistant to the producer Laurens Straub on the film "Gegenschuss" (2008, Reverse Angle). She studied at the "Konrad Wolf" College of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 2006-2011.
