Alexander Hick studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München, the University of Television and Film Munich, and the Centro Capacitación Cinematográfico in Mexico City. His work has been shown at festivals and in museums all around the world. A selection of his films includes: "Make No Way the Way" (2007), "Blaueis" (2009), "Day After Day" (2010), "Saint Germain" (2010), and the documentary features "San Augustín, Low Tide in the Plastic Sea" (2012), "Scorched Water" (2015), and "Thinking Like A Mountain" (2018).
