Born in Hamburg on 25.2.1977. He has worked as an assistant director in the theatre and as a film projectionist. From 1999-2001 he worked as a camera assistant for the film production company Vincent Filmproduktion in Hamburg after which he worked as a freelance cinematographer on various film and television productions. In 2003 he took up studies in documentary directing at Baden-Württemberg Film Academy. He has collaborated on a number of feature films, documentaries and video projections for the theatre.
