Hannah Schweier, born in Munich on 23.2.1980 she studied philosophy, psychology and drama at the LMU in Munich. She has worked in various capacities in theatre, film and television. She directed her first short drama in 2001 and worked as an assistant director. Another short film, "Alltag", was to become her entrance ticket to the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy, where she took up studies in feature film directing in 2003. In 2007 she was a guest of the Berlinale section Perspektive Deutsches Kino with her film "Aufrecht stehen".
