Born in Eichstätt in Bavaria on 27.9.1978 he has been making short dramas and documentaries since the age of sixteen. A stage directing graduate from the Viennese Max Reinhardt Seminar which he attended from 1998-2003, he also spent a year studying in Buenos Aires from 2001-02. He studied documentary and television journalism at the Munich College of Film and Television from 2003-10. "Ein Sommer voller Türen" is his graduation film. He lives in Vienna and Munich.
