Mara Eibl-Eibesfeldt, born in Gräfelfing near Munich, Germany in 1980, grew up in Munich and Nuremberg before studying journalism, film and psychology at Freie Universität Berlin. In 2003 she took part in Berlinale Talents and began studying directing at the University of Television and Film Munich. Her short films have screened at numerous international festivals.
