Maya Schweizer, born in Paris, studied art and art history at the University of Aix-en-Provence (1995-1998). She moved to Germany and studied at the School of Visual Arts in Leipzig (HGB) (1999-2002) and at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) with Professor Lothar Baumgarten and graduated in 2006. Her work has been awarded and shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
