Born in Hanover on 27.7.1966. Studied literature, theatre and sociology from 1988-95. During that time worked as actress with stage director Einar Schleef. Then worked as an ad writer and in the area of video and performance. Made short documentaries and published an online novel. Co-founder of the film collective hangover ltd. and participated in all their productions from 2001-07. "Eine flexible Frau" is Tatjana Turanskyj's feature film debut.
