Tomasz Emil Rudzik was born in 1979 in Poland. After graduating high school in Cologne, he studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1999-2001, followed by studies at the University of Television and Film in Munich from 2001-2009. He participated in the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing in Warsaw in 2010 and received a scholarship for the Munich Screenplay Workshop in 2010-2011. Active as a writer and director, his films include: "Flaschendreh" (2002, short), "Tote Indianer" (2003, short), "Garage Love" (2004, short), "Der Spaziergang" (2006, short) "Desperados on The Block"(2009), and "Agnieszka" (2014).
